What is Electric Underfloor Heating?
An affordable and energy-efficient replacement for conventional central heating systems based on radiators is electric underfloor heating. It utilises electrical lines to heat your home far more effectively than traditional radiators, which lowers heating costs and has a less environmental impact.
How does Electric Underfloor Heating work?
The way electric underfloor heating functions is by transforming the floor into a vast, effective, and undetectable heat emitter.
The system consists of an electrical cable that is buried beneath your floor covering. When a current is sent through the wire, the electrical resistance causes the cable to heat up. The floor substrate absorbs this heat, which is then released into the space above.
