22mm Tekwarm Foiled Routed Chipboard UFH Panels | 2400mm x 600mm | 150mm Centres for 12mm Pipe

These foiled routed chipboard panels are precision-grooved at 150 mm centres to accept 12 mm diameter underfloor heating pipework and are intended for use in water-based UFH systems using this pipe size. They are not suitable for larger pipe diameters.

Each panel measures 2400 mm × 600 mm with a thickness of 22 mm, and features a heat-reflective foil facing designed to improve upward heat transfer.

The foil layer helps reflect radiant heat upwards into the room, improving thermal performance compared with non-foiled boards while still providing the same pipe routing and support.

At 22 mm thick, the chipboard offers a degree of rigidity and support for laying underfloor heating pipes, but like all routed panels it is commonly used with a suitable overlay or topping layer before installing the final floor finish.

With an appropriate overlay, these foiled panels can be used under laminate, engineered wood, vinyl, carpet or tiles, following the floor finish manufacturer’s guidance for use with UFH systems.

Yes. These panels can be cut on site with standard woodworking tools to fit room shapes and obstructions. When trimming, maintain edge support and avoid damaging the routed pipe channels.

The foiled version is generally chosen where modest improvement in heat reflection and upward heat transfer is preferred, such as in domestic or retrofit installations, while non-foiled panels may be selected if the slight difference in thermal behaviour is less critical.
